A Story Makes it Better
The concept of Storytelling is part of our DNA. It is a pointer hinting to us and others where we come from, what we desire, love, hate, fear and even teases us about the source of our existence. It should be the most fundamental part of every video we produce and it certainly should be the most deliberate part.
This 2-hour seminar will take a look at the structure of "Storytelling" as it relates to: conception, development, production, and postproduction, in Corporate, Wedding and Event, Documentary, and Narrative video production. It will be interactive in nature and might even prompt some to take a deeper look at the soul of their productions.

        Do The Math
Are you a videographer because you love the business,
or are you a business person who does well as a videographer?

All too often, videographers place too little emphasis on the financial details of their business. To be successful, a videographer needs to have a clear understanding of basic business economics.
In this detail-oriented presentation, 20-year veteran videographer Steve Wernick (co-founder of The 4EVER Group) will explain those basics in an understandable fashion. From knowing your weekly cash-flow needs, to realizing the implications of taxes, Steve's program will help videographers recognize whether they are actually making a profit from the business they enjoy.

        Video Critique
Steve Wernick, creator of the Artistic Achievement Awards program has developed an entertaining presentation designed to help every videographer understand how to produce outstanding Videos.

Every year, many organizations offer video awards programs. In addition, many local associations also have video competitions. Rarely, however, is an expert critique available.

Anonymous submissions from our attendees are requested & welcomed. One or two will be selected. Deconstructing videos helps your meeting attendees directly relate to the lessons. If there are no volunteers, Steve does have a number of videos that he can show. Videographers often work in isolation, and do not always have the opportunity to understand exactly what goes into producing excellent videos. This program is designed to let Videographers understand the basics of good Wedding Video production.

The Business of Funeral Videos
Funeral videography is one of the fastest growing fields in event videography. Not only is it an opportunity to add more income to one's business, but it is also a tremendous opportunity to impact people's lives. Videographers who have gotten into funeral videography will often say that this is the most meaningful thing they have done in video. In this seminar we will have an overview of the whole area of funeral videography. We will do this by looking at an introduction to funeral videography, the importance of it to the families and to us as videographers, and also the implications of funeral videography for our businesses.
